Town Center at Lake Forest Park and walk the Burke Gilman Trail

Lets meet inside, in front of Third Place Books, by the food court.  You can go in through the front doors between Ross and Rite Aid and head up the escalators to Third Place Books.  While you're waiting for everyone to show, drop off your used books, CD's and records for cash or credit at Third Place books and grab a warm drink for the trail.  There are also bathrooms in the food court and plenty of parking outside.

We'll walk for 5 miles on the flat trail around the lake, heading towards Seattle.  We can see all the lake homes surrounding the trails and experience this part of the trail for the first time with the group!

After the walk, we'll meet back at the food court for an optional lunch and plenty of seating.  There are lots of food options that you can purchase and bring to their huge tables.

After the walk or lunch, you can stop by Third Place Books and see which items they want to purchase from you and run some errands at the many different stores!

What a great walk, Kay. I loved discovering a new trail, and of course spending time with everyone. Thanks for all of the photos Monique and SteVe. The photo of the sign that said to beware of attack mutt was so funny. How did I miss that??? Great day!

Hi, I'm carpooling with Jara and I have another commitment tomorrow morning so we're going to be 10-15 minutes late. Please start without us and we'll either catch up or see you at the turn. Hope the rain stays away. Karen P.
