Speaker Bio - Asya Kamsky is Senior Solutions Architect at 10gen, the creators of MongoDB.  Asya's 20+ years of technology experience include roles in computer graphics, scientific application programming, database administration, data warehousing, software quality, static source code analysis and now MongoDB, a NoSQL data store.   Asya's company history includes Coverity, Elemental Security, and eGreetings.

Talk Abstract - The talk will provide a basic overview of MongoDB from a developer's standpoint and then pivot into how to architect MongoDB for high availability and scale.  Existing customer topologies and reference installation will also be discussed.

      According to Steven Leowy of 10gen, the presentation will NOT be platform specific. Mongo runs on Windows and Lunix platforms.
