So, my bet is that this will go down as an epic non-storm, but I do not want to end up snowed in at a warehouse during this year's biggest snow storm--sounds like the makings of a bad movie. Read about the CTO series below, but first...
CALL FOR CTO SERIES TOPICS:
In addition to meeting other tech-oriented entrepreneurs, the other big objective was to find out what topics people would like to cover for this year's CTO series. If you can reply to me at [address removed] with any preferences, I will take those into consideration in reaching out to CTOs and other tech experts in the region. Rails, Azure, Python, Java, jQuery, iOS, Android, TDD, Hiring Developers, Outsourcing, Prototyping/MVP, Continuous Integration, A/B Testing, Hadoop, Analytics, Machine Learning, Kinect, PhoneGap, Titanium, Git, Heroku, whatever--the goal is to figure out what you want to learn over the course of the next 10 months.
We will have our first CTO Series meetup on February 15 with Damon Danieli, Founder and CTO at Z2Live, Inc (http://z2live.com/), and I bet that it fills up (a lot of betting in this message). Reserve your spot today.
Also, the CEO Series is coming up on February 1, and Gary Flake, CEO of Clipboard (http://www.clipboard.com), will be our guest presenter. RSVP now!
We have a special event called Ideakick scheduled for January 27. This is a fun activity and a great way to get feedback on your idea. We announced it on Friday, and 24 of 30 tickets are gone, perhaps because the price is right (free!). Grab your ticket immediately! (I am working on my calls to action)
Thanks, and talk to you soon.
