This might be of interest to some folks. John has provided a discount code: SEA_chrest_SAC. With the discount code provided by John, the price drops from $200 to $170. It will jump up to $260 later tonight. The format is like Startup Weekend, but without the code (just the business model/customer development/lean methodologies).

If you end up signing up, please let me know.

Hello member of the Lean Startup Seattle crew,

The Lean Startup Machine is a weekend long exploration of some of the key principles of the Lean Startup Methodology. Lean Startup Machine is an organization out of New York that is enabling these weekend efforts all over the world.  They are coming to Seattle to run a Lean Startup Machine weekend, where you will have the chance to explore deeply the process of customer development, Business models and getting clear on pivots.

I have been talking with the Lean Startup Machine folks,  and they are working to bring an intresting weekend together. One of the parts that I am particularly interested in is that they have been talking to Patrick Vlaskovits, the Author of "The Entrepreneurs Guide to Customer Development". As I understand it, Patrick will be participating the whole weekend. This will be a rare chance to engage in mentoring and skill development with someone who has been working on the issue at this level.

Today is the last day for the  early bird tickets for the LSM - http://lsm-seattle-june-2012.eventbrite.com/

If you use the Promotion Code of " SEA_chrest_SAC "  You will get a substantial discount off the early bird tickets. (This promotion code should work for all of the different kinds of tickets)

If you have a team of 5 people, they have a team deal of buy 4 , get one free. I think the discount works for that too.

I am talking to Patrick about doing workshops both about his book "The Entrepreneurs Guide to Customer Development" and his new upcoming book "The Lean Entrepreneur"

If you would like to see those workshops take place, please drop me a note.

If there is anything that I can do that will help with your exploration of Lean Startup principles, please let me know.

(PS. You are getting this note because you are a member of the Lean Startup Seattle Meetup group )
