Eastside Incubator Message Board › Eastside Incubator AoA Pitch Clinic
We had 6 people say that they would be interested in doing the 3-hour Alliance of Angels Pitch clinic at the EI warehouse for $100. If we can get that number up to 15, I think they will be willing to put it on. I think it will be a great opportunity for our community to get some valuable experience and develop a common framework of how to evaluate and explain opportunities, and I hope that we can make this happen.
So if you you were on the fence, get off the fence and jump it...take 5 minutes (or less!) to do the really quick survey:
Of if you just prefer to shoot me an email "I'm in", that works well. I look forward to attending this clinic with many of you!
Ideakick - last night was a blast - a lot of fun ideas, and we will have video to share of the event at some point (assuming I can figure out how to get the video).
Gary Flake's CEO Series Meetup Feb 1 at 7: 23/27 spots left, and I think we will fill up. Sign up today (and show up on Wednesday).
Damon Danieli's CTO Series Meetup Feb 15 at 7: plenty of room left, and this is going to be a great presentation, so RSVP now to make sure you get to participate. Forward this to a friend who you want to build something with.
Membership up to 100
We now have 100 members. I think this is a good number. We are looking at ways to make the community members more valuable to each other, and if you would like to get involved in this please let me know. We have talked about a startup weekend type activity, but that largely addresses the coding piece (important, but we also need a validated idea/business model). Perhaps we could do a pitch deck/customer feedback weekend, a 2-minute video advertisement for my startup (that does not yet exist) weekend, or additional events that get people working on projects beyond just coding. Let me know if you are interested.
