Do you love to socialize and meet new people over a sumptious dinner or a fun social event? Do you like to try new restuarants? This group is all about discovering new restaurants and social venues, in the tri state Seacoast area. All are welcome, singles, couples, whatever..we are about friendship.. Be prepared for a leisurely two to three hour dining experience. When you discover a new restaurant, tell us about it. We will be meeting the 4th Saturday of every month. So you will always know when the meetup is happening. There may be times when something special pops up and we shall slip in an extra meetup or two or three....

A few ground rules: please give at least 24 hours notice if you are NOT going to attend (if you previously said YES). We make special arrangements with the restaurants--sometimes including deposits or guarantees. It's also inconsiderate of your fellow foodies who are looking forward to seeing you at the event. If you are a no show for two events, you will be dropped from the group.

Also, please do not leave until the bill is paid. There are times when restaurants do make mistakes and there is no way to know it if some people have already left. To calculate what you owe, add up what you ordered and then add 25% to cover tax and tip. This is easily done by dividing your total in half twice and then adding that to your total.

Example:
Michael ordered the prime rib dinner for $14.99 and two marguaritas for $6.00 each, for a total of $26.99. Dividing $27.00 once is $13.50 and twice is $6.75. Adding that to $26.00 gives a grand total of $33.74. Michael could either pay $33.74 or round it up to an even $34.00.

About the organizers: This meetup was formed by Donna Downes (married) and Cyndi Pariseau (single) who have moved to the Seacoast area within the past 2-4 yrs and have had difficulty finding people in our age group to socialize with. We find ourselves going back to Ma quite frequently to socialize with friends in and around Boston. The Seacoast is such a great area we would love to be hanging out here much more then we are... Both Donna and Cyndi are entreprenuers who live in Hampton and work in Portsmouth. To learn more come to one of our meetups we will be happy to share... Hope to see you soon.
