I consider myself a foodie (being 100%Italian) and also coming from a family that once worked in the food business. My dad has worked and cooked all over the world (but mostly in Europe, South America, NYC and finally, Westchester. I love to visit new restaurants and know a little about proper service and quality food. Hard to not be spoiled when you come from a good food background. I don't care if the place is casual or elegant, what matters is the service and "great food". If a place wins me over because of there food, I will be back. I may start a food blog too as I love telling people about my dining experiences. Would love to try more places in CT (with other foodies).
Dine out. Explore new areas & restaurants, outdoor activities in the tri-state area. Enjoy easy to moderate (scenic) hikes and walks (woods, beach, mountains etc). Love road biking and inline skating. Enjoy fall foliage excursions, wineries, picnics, fall festivals and harvest food events the most (all other seasons are cool too). I am allergic to beer (sad as it is; developed a few years back), but I do enjoy wines and other beverages of choice, mine being a good mojito. Don't mind cross-country skiing, snow-tubing, ice-skating and snow mobiling and enjoy being at a ski resort, even if I am not skiing per say. I like the outdoors year round. I also spend time with my dog, but he is aging now and he can't do as much anymore (but that's ok I still love him). Big dog lover and like dog parks, bringing dog for run on beach/swim etc. Enjoy movies, reading and alot more stuff. Thanks for reading. : )

LOL! It depends what day it is and what my stomach wants. Seriously. I would say it varies by season too. But I will always eat Italian & Pan-Asian. I don't eat a lot of read meat (except for meatballs, brisket, rack of lamb & a good burger once in a while). But I love pork, shellfish, seafood, certain fish & as I mentioned pasta galore. Chicken is my red meat. I love harvest veggies and soups in the fall to compliment the meat dishes I do eat and creamed or sauteed spinach is always a staple. I love the new beet salads that are in. Caesar will always be a fave and I love the Signature Salad at Cosi.My simple fave everyday dessert is a simple (not store bought) chocolate chip cookie (like from Starbucks, Meli-Melo, Panera, Cosi, specialty shop). I stop by the Barnes and Noble Super store in WP 1-2 times a week for a dessert (peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, mint cream brownie in the winter).
