Schedule:Registration begins at 7:30 8am-8:30 Breakfast (vegan and raw vegan options) provided by Urban Fresh.
8:30 - 10am
Room 1: Ann Baldwin presents "Stopping Emotional Eating". About 70% of overeating is linked to the emotions. During this presentation Dr. Baldwin will help you discover the stress triggers that make you eat impulsively. She will teach mindful breathing and help you focus on positive emotions like gratitude that help reduce stress and emotional eating. Dr. Baldwin will demonstrate, using biofeedback devices that monitor heart rate variability and emotional arousal, how these exercises affect your heart, and consequently your thought processes and the choices you make about the food you eat. You will gain the tools to access your heart’s intuitive intelligence so that you end emotional eating and naturally make healthy food choices.
Room 2: Carol Roberge presents "Keep it Simple, Balanced and Real".  As you begin the shift to a “healthier you”, navigating the world of food and diet
propaganda can feel daunting. Lets re-define healthy eating and embrace more empowering beliefs around nutrition. Using a Holistic approach, Carol will share foods that re-balance and support our bodies and why they are so important. She will provide delicious ideas to help broaden your greens and veggie repertoire and offer preparation styles that preserve the nutrient integrity of the food. Life is meant to be enjoyed, food savored and your birthright is vibrant health!
Room 3: Jared Keen and Cara Silverstein present "A Plant Based Primer". A plant-based diet has been shown to lower the risk for many chronic diseases, such as obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes, as well as many types of cancer.  It can also ease symptoms of menopause, reverse certain digestive ailments, and boost your immune system.  Come find out the basics of the plant based lifestyle: Learn the myths and truths, the benefits and challenges, and how to start making the transition from a Standard American Diet to a more plant based diet.  We’ll demonstrate some healthy recipes and share local resources to support your healthy lifestyle change.

10:15 - 11:45
Room 1: Chris Whitcoe presents "Tantric Nutrition". Relationships and nutrition are the basis of daily life for many people. They are very connected and intertwine in many ways, very often without notice. Creating healthy relationships with our bodies as well as with our loved ones and business assiciates is essential to happiness, health, and success. When we make mistakes in relationships it can cause several years of frustration in our lives and much suffering in families, along with inner feelings of failure. The same is true in our relationship to diet, nutrition, and food. Lack of nourishing relationships can cause emotional eating. Lack of proper nutrition for our individual health needs can create  dis-ease in our emotional lives and psychological states, subtly disrupting our relationships over time.
There is no need for these very common stressors in our society. Understanding ancient knowledge of individual dietary recommendations along with modern scientific studies enables people to find youthfulness and health. Deep understanding of nurturing relationships and psychology helps awaken passionate, creative, and successful relationships. The balanced interplay of nourishing food and relationships benefits every aspect of life.
Room 2: Dr. Jameth Sheridan presents "Shocking Realities About Plant Based and Raw Food Diets” Dr. Jameth Sheridan (D.H.M.) has been a Plant Based and Raw Food researcher for over 25 years and lives and breathes all aspects of this health style.  Learn that you can eat incredible tasting, satisfying food that makes you feel healthy and energetic everyday, so you can enjoy the quality of your life better.  Learn how you can avoid serious health challenges such as heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, and cancers and most other diseased, and about people that have reversed these conditions with different types of plant based lifestyle changes.
Dr Sheridan will also be sharing a sneak peak on some of the research he will be sharing in his book (coming later this year). Hear the shocking research he has done on just how bad animal foods are for humans (you will never want to eat animal protein again).  For the raw fooder or future raw fooder, he will share new research about enzymes, and leukocytosis immune function that flies in the face of traditional raw food teachings, and that will keep you on a plant based path for good in the best possible health. Find out why some people (especially raw fooders) leave a plant based path and how they have gotten back to it. Find out which foods are best raw and if certain foods are actually better for you cooked!  For any raw fooder, former raw fooder, or future raw fooder, this is must-have knowledge.  You will leave inspired, impassioned, and empowered like never before to live and thrive on plant based diet.
