Arugula Bar E Ristorante

Cuisine: Italian
Closest Major Intersection: 28th & Iris

You can consider this our "holiday party" and a special occasion with friends.  We'll have our own private room with lots of space where we can eat, drink, and be merry.  It's a bar, so this is an adult event, and you can plan on lots of festive beverages to make the night even merrier.  They have a fantastic menu with lots of new dishes along with the classic Italian favorites.

We'll have their Amaro room all to ourselves for this special dinner party.  Bring a friend!

Monica, thank you so much for all the work you put into setting this up! Sorry I couldn't make it around tonight to chat, my broken heel has really slowed me down.

I hope your heel isn't hurting you too much. I'm glad you made it out to have dinner with us!

I really liked having a private room but it was a bummer we were all so far away from each other. The lamb was fantastic!

My food was delicious! Duck. Our table of 6 was the last straw that overwhelmed the kitchen though I guess... We got our food after everyone else had finished eating, haha. Thanks Monica. Great meetup as usual.

Wow!! I just assumed that the wait list was allowed top join in order of where they are on the wait list. Is it the same with all groups?

Cannot figure out how to reply to Monica's latest message.

Karen, if you can't make it would you mind changing your RSVP to "no" so it frees up a spot? Thanks!

I was actually going to attend but saw Don's e-mail and gave it to him since I have finals and could use the extra night. I'm a pretty conscientious person when it comes to that......Thanks! Karen

Done, i.e., RSVP changed to yes. Odd!! How do these wait lists work?

    November 26, 2012

    • Monica

If you're on the wait list and a spot opens up then Meetup automatically sends you an email along with everyone else on the wait list. The first one to grab the spot by changing their RSVP to "yes" gets moved off of the waiting list and has reserved a spot for the event.

Looks like I am the only one on the wait list. Hope I make it. I assume someone will let me know one way or the other.

Get the spot I just opened

      November 26, 2012

    • Monica

Don, you need to manually change your RSVP to "yes" if you want to go. You haven't reserved a spot unless you're on the list of people attending.

I just got an email saying a spot had opened up for this meetup and I should respond that I want to attend immediately. I am wait listed, and still am listed as such. Can I assume I am "in."

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
