Giggles Comedy Club is an intimate venue devoted solely to Stand-Up Comedy, and is situated inside the Prince Spaghetti Restaurant in Saugus on Rt.1-South. All seats have a great close view of the performance stage.
Every Friday and Saturday night, Giggles presents comedy shows featuring the finest Comedians in the entire Boston area. And, the best part is that we all can enjoy fabulous Comedians without battling Boston traffic or enduring the hassle of finding Boston parking, whether free or paid.
I specifically chose Friday night 7/26 because it’s a SPECIAL Comedy night featuring Lenny Clarke, the beloved Boston Comedian. Lenny is also one of the most famous Comedians in the USA, with numerous appearances on Late Night TV Shows including Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David Letterman, etc., as well as cameos in several first-rate Hollywood movies. The 2 other Comedians on the bill on Friday are John David and Jack Walsh.
The cost of the Comedy Show is $27, and it starts at 8:30pm. However, the doors open at 7pm. So, let's get there at that time to dine together, get to know one another better, and have some fun before the show.
The Italian food and the mixed drinks at Giggles are very good and reasonably priced. There’s no reason to eat anywhere else beforehand, yet every reason to get there early to have a better chance of getting a good table and seats.
Giggles mostly has tables for 4 and 2 people, and right now we have 5 people who want to attend including Jeff Spin, Sue Johnson, Jerry Mac, Janet, and Tom. So, let’s try to get 3-7 more people so we can have 1 or 2 more tables of 4 situated right next to each other.
By the way, Lenny Clarke is so popular, both with the audience and with fellow Comedians, that it’s not at all unusual for other very famous Comedians (such as Steve Wright) to make surprise cameo appearances to perform new material for a few minutes.
I hope other members of this group will attend Friday night 7/26 to have some good (and perhaps not so clean) fun with the Comedians and everyone at the show. It’s definitely worth attending.
