Eckhart Discussion Group, led by Robert (Sunday 2 PM)

It is time to gather again in peace.  The topic for this meetup will be:  "Finding our Life Purpose."

As a Life Coach, my task is often to help others discover their life's purpose and to develop a concrete strategy for getting there.  However, Eckhart tells us that letting go of attachment to an expected future is a gateway to presence and to finding our true life's purpose.  Hmmm....

How do the principles of presence and non-attachment co-exist with the goal of finding and manifesting our "life's purpose"?

There is no charge for this meet-up.  Love offerings are gratefully accepted.

I always have coffee, hot tea, and sparkletts water available.  Please feel free to bring food or snacks to share, if you feel so moved.

In the Conference Room at ABS Computer Services
711 E Walnut St, Pasadena, CA 91101

It was a great meeting. I feel happy and calm. Just what I needed. I think all the members got something beneficial from it.

I am so sorry that I have to change my RSVP. The family has decided to see the space shuttle for my four year old grandson's birthday today, and just informed me of their change in plans. I need to be at the grandson's birthday event. I am re-reading The Power of Now, which is powerful. Hope to be able to share and discuss with like minds in the very near future. Love and Light, Barbara

I'm new to learning about Ekhart Tolle. Have only seen him on TV. I just purchased his books. Which one should I read first? Is the group going to discuss a specific book at the meeting? Looking foward to being enlightened!

Hi again Retta. We discuss typically the principles from Eckharte's books and how they relate to our day to day lives. As I mentioned, My favorite is "a new earth", but discussion and sharing seem to flow across all the books and lectures. Sometime we pick a favorite passage from a book as a jumping off point.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
