What does "conservation photography" mean to you?

I see conservation photography as visual documentation of all that is precious in the natural world, and all that threatens nature.

What is your favorite subject matter?

all that is encompassed within nature--landscape photography, wildlife, natural resources--the natural world

What camera do you currently use?

I currently carry and use a Canon D10 underwater, point-and-shoot camera. Looking forward to the purchase of a Canon 6D or Nikon D750 DSLR.

A Berkeley resident and fairly new to the S.F. Bay area, am a passionate, amateur photographer with profound interest in most environmentally-related issues. Earned degrees in foreign language and have more recently studied marine science/ecology.

What Susan B. is saying about this Meetup Group

Looking forward to photographing with Gary and others at some point, perhaps in the Farallon Islands during summertime.
