What does "conservation photography" mean to you?

Making images of natural objects and phenomena which can be used by people to better understand the natural world and mankind's impact on it.

What is your favorite subject matter?

Small living things...insects, fungi, slime molds, with the occasional snow flower and banana slug thrown in. Also becoming interested in photography of moonlit scenes.

What camera do you currently use?

Nikon D7000 w/105mm f/2.8 micro-Nikkor, Nikon 18-55 or[masked] lens.

A retired salesman of photographic equipment (Schaefer's Cameras, Adolph Gasser, Keeble & Shuchat) with an interest in macro photography, particularly of invertebrates, fungi, and when I can find them, slime molds. I live on the Peninsula.
