The SNJO makes jazz for the people, by the people and delivers it to the people; at home in Scotland and across international borders. They give and receive a warm welcome wherever they go and carry with them the true democratic spirit of jazz.

Come join the SNJO for an evening with Kurt Elling.

Grammy winner Kurt Elling is among the world’s foremost jazz vocalists. His rich baritone spans four octaves and features both astonishing technical mastery and emotional depth. His repertoire includes original compositions and modern interpretations of standards, all of which are springboards for inspired improvisation, scatting, spoken word, and poetry.

The SNJO completed a highly successful tour of North American and Canadian Jazz Festivals last year, showcasing a number of world renowned Jazz Musicians and singers.  They have now brought a little of this magic back home.

Tickets are selling fast for this gig so to avoid disappointment I suggest you book sooner rather than later.  Tickets can be purchased direct from the Queen's Hall Box Office.  Ticket price £17.50

Hi everyone. I'll be at The Ale House at 6.30 to meet you for drinks before the gig. I'll be wearing a grey pinstripe jacket.

Apparently The Ale House doesn't exist anymore. The Abbey Bar will be the meeting point. Really sorry folks.
