Hi Carolanne. Just tried to book a ticket online and thought I would just need to print this out but it looks like tickets are posted out to you so would be too late for this. Tried phoning but just got a recorded message so assume this means I will just have to pay on the day?

MEETING POINT - in main Car park - Meeting at 11am
NB - weather is to be fab so fingers crossed - we have good gravel paths but would suggest good walking or comfy shoes - to go round the site and view the art sculptures usually takes around 2-2 1/2 hours at a gentle pace and depending on how long you want to look at the sculptures.
NB - have had lots of requests from people in my other groups I'm part off to lead a tour round again after my last one I did so there will be others joining us on the day they are a great mixed bunch -it's just I have no more free weekends before we close in September so I have joined it up with this one - in total there will be around 30 of us - hope you don't mind.

GETTING TO JUPITER BY BUS
There is a direct bus from central Edinburgh and the journey takes 35 minutes. The number 27 and X27 First bus leaves from Edinburgh (Regent Rd) or from Dalry Road, Haymarket. After you have gone through Wilkieston the bus will take a right hand turn onto the B7015 to East Calder. Twenty yards after the turn onto the B7015 the gates to Jupiter Artland are on the right after Ashbank House. The bus driver will stop at a bus stop called Coxydene/Jupiter Artland 50 yards further on. They have gone too far if they get to Camps industrial Estate

DRECTIONS TO JUPITER BY CAR - I think it's the easiest way
From town heading west - drive through Dalry road, continue through Gorgie and onto the Calder Road - stay on Calder Road till the end where you will come up to a big roundabout - go straight over roundabout and you are then onto the A71 - continue straight on the A 71 you will pass Dalmahoy etc but keep go straight you will then end up at a small place called Wilkieston and main traffic lights - go straight through these lights - once through Wilkieston you need to take the first opening on the right the sign post states East Camps - turn onto this road - once turned the main gates to Jupiter are literally 10 yards from the main road on the right hand side just before a set of cottages (if you pass the cottages you have gone too far :-)) Turn right into the gates and keep following the road - straight - at the brow of the hill you will see the entry gates into the main car park .
