Bram Stoker International Film Festival

One for ghouls who like to travel a little further for their kicks!!

The Bram Stoker International Film Festival takes place in a fantastic seaside venue in Whitby this October. The festival ranges through a cacophony of new US and UK independent films, period horrors from the 60s and 70s and foreign films from recent decades. There are also theatre presentations, a dark gallery, market area and 4 themed evening events, which include a vampire ball and lots of dressing up!!
Goth rockers Fields of the Nephilim have been announced as a headline act for one of the evening events.

Tickets for the whole event cost £85 if bought on the special 'early bird' offer before 19th May.

Caz and I went down last year and had a great time, Whitby is a lovely, friendly place to explore, The Pavilion theatre itself feels 'just right' for a festival - perched on a cliff top near Whitby's famous whale bone arch. The Pavilion is large, films run end to end, but the ball room and cinema are at opposite ends so you can choose to watch a film while the bands are on.

Needless to say, you will need accommodation for the festival and transport down, we took two trains and a bus journey to Whitby.

If you fancy it let's hook up and chat :)

Hi Caz and Swan, as I have been unsuccessful in e-mail you. I have a suggestion for a meet up as Halloween is on a Friday, why not have a party at the Auld Hoos. I hope this ok, please text me if that is ok.

Hi Grant, alas I will be elsewhere on Hallowe'en, suitably gruesome of course ;)
