The last few I've seen are the 1922 Nosferatu, Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness, Cabin in the Woods. All good fun.
I'm a bit funny about my films as I love old-school Hammer Horror. So I prefer the film to have a castle or other antiquarian setting, lots of chandeliers and waxy candles, cobwebs, an ancient curse, eerie weather, a demented relative or scary beastie in it. A bit of tongue in cheek never hurt either. Don't like films like Hostel or Saw.
Movies, theatre, lectures, days away. Anything that involves the morbid, the grotseque, the gothic.
Young Frankenstein. I know, it's a comedy. I still love that film and think it creepier than most Universal Studios creature features. Maybe the Horror of Dracula as well.
Hi! I live and work in the city of Edinburgh. I enjoy movies and especially war and horror. Happy to meet up with people for a viewing and a discussion over a drink. Hope to meet you soon!
One of the best meetup groups I've joined, and easily the busiest. Also met a lovely set of ghouls.
