Rather than waiting for the perfect walking group to appear in Meetup, we are creating the one we want! If you are out of shape and lacking motivation to get out and walk, you have joined the right group. Most walks are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 a.m. We will have some 1-3 mile flat walks that I will mark as good for beginners. The goal will be increasing the distance to 4-5 miles with hills on some occasions. I try to add map links so that you can see the length and elevation gains. Our pace will be about 3- 3.5 miles per hour.
Let's meet new people, get out and get some fresh air (rain or shine) and move toward a healthier you.
Important: all walks are RAIN or SHINE. No pets on walks please and walks are not stroller friendly, sorry! We leave promptly at 8 a.m. so please arrive a few minutes early. If you are coming, please RSVP yes. No need to RSVP no, unless you are changing from a yes. We want to know how many people are coming each day, if possible. Thank you and walk on!
