Canada Day BBQ

It's early, but here's the heads-up.  Canada Day is Fort Saskatchewan's annual "celebration day". There is a parade in the morning, cake and festivities in the park, and fireworks when it gets dark.

It all makes for a great excuse to hold a BBQ. Like last year, we can arrange for transportation to Fort Saskatchewan from Clareview Transit Centre for those who don't have their own car.

I thought it was good. It would have been nice if more people came though. But c'est la vie.

We came for the parade and had planned to stay, but the heat and chaos did a number on the kids, so I took them home. I hope you guys have a wonderful day!

We're still out of town. I was hoping we could make it somehow but it's not looking good. Anyway, have fun and happy birthday Canada!

Will be be at the "Kiss-n-Ride" loop on the west side of the station, the same as last year?

Yes. Manning Freeway side. If it's just the two people needing a ride, Dave will have a white Ford car otherwise he will have a black Kia minivan.

This is coming up fast! We'll provide burgers, hotdogs, and something to drink. If others would volunteer to bring salads or a dessert or something else, that would be great. :)
