Come over to my backyard in north-east Sherwood Park for an observing session. Good for any skill level. (Hey, I'm really just a beginner myself)
If the moon is out then.. we'll work around it. :) And if it's colder than -15 degrees or if it's cloudy then we'll skip this completely. (Message me, Imran, if not sure if the current observing session is a go or no-go) It's not exactly a dark-sky site but hey.. it's in my backyard and I'm good at making hot chocolate. -shrug-
We can also figure out fun things like.. using a telescope, polar alignment and even some astrophotography if wanted.
Do dress appropriately for standing/sitting about outdoors for a few hours. If you have a telescope or other viewing equipment then certainly bring it along.
And no, there's no cost for this. :)
