Calling other readers! Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club! Fiction, non-fiction, paperback, or hardcover...we read one book every month and get together to discuss our thoughts about it. This is a great way to meet new friends and laugh. In addition to the monthly book discussion, there may be times when a movie outing is listed or a wine tasting, or dinner, etc. We will meet once a month between the 10th and 20th on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm. At the meeting, we cover questions about the book that people had, any discussion points, exchange general chat and talk about what to read in upcoming meetings. The organizer will then schedule the next month's meeting, so there should always be about a month in between meetings for people to read the next book. We are open to meeting locations and I am soliciting help in finding a good location - preferably somewhere with coffee and snacks, such as Second Cup or Starbucks or perhaps a local eatery. The group is made up of career professionals, stay at home moms, teachers, retirees; native Edmontonians and transplants like myself. This fosters quite the diversity when discussing the books and leads to learning. For those who ask about relevant age groups, I would say between 25ish-50ish. If this sounds interesting to you, please group the group. Hope to see you at our next meeting. Cheers!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
