Snowshoe anyone? - Blackfoot to Islet Lake - 11KM

A former member
This Sunday if you are looking to get out of the city consider this hike. In fact, consider doing it on snowshoes. They can be rented for a number our places but Totem and Mountain Equipment Coop .

I would suggest getting poles as well as they help with stability. Novices in reasonable physical shape will want to attend to check out the sport.

A timely reminder that this is a hike. As such, good footwear (e.g. boots), clothing, lunch, fluids, etc are all required gear. This thread hopefully will answer most questions.
