I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist, and practice traditional office-based therapy as well as something called "equine-assisted psychotherapy", which is a slightly less conventional modality of therapy. The basic idea is that it's experiential, rather than talk. This is what I do with my Edmonton-based business, Equinox Therapeutic and Consulting Services. I am also co-own and direct a residential treatment centre down in Arizona, which utilizes animal-assisted programming. Additionally, this past summer, I co-founded another business called Horse Powered Solutions, through which I provide equine-assisted corporate and personal development workshops. So, my "profession" is rather multi-faceted, but is generally accompanied by horses :>

I'm not sure at this point what I can offer the club specifically, as I don't know enough about the club to guess at what members would benefit from. Generally speaking, I know that I bring energy, enthusiasm, and the tendency to push the conventional envelope!
