This group is for working Moms in Edmonton and area where we can get together regularly for a glass of wine or coffee and talk about our lives with someone who can relate. Looking for women of all ages and professions in the area who are mothers (of grown children too!) and would love a chance to get out and socialize more often.
Please find our ground rules and member responsibilities listed below.
Meetup Group Ground Rules
1. Treat all members with respect at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, showing up to events to which you have RSVP’d “yes” as well as your general behavior and treatment of other members. 2. Any form of harassment, bullying or inappropriate behavior may result in your removal from the group. 3. Being a no-show to three events where you have RSVP’d “yes” will result in your removal from the group. You can re-join but may be removed at the discretion of the organizer(s) depending on past behavior and participation. 4. Being inactive within the group for three (3) months may result in your removal from the group. “Inactivity” includes not participating in events or discussions of the group and is determined at the discretion of the organizer(s). 5. Any event with less than five (5) “yes” RSVPs seven (7) days prior to the event will be cancelled. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organizer(s). 6. Changes to “yes” RSVPs within seven (7) days of an event require either a message to the organizer(s) or a message posted to the event’s discussion. Failure to do so may result in removal from the group. 7. If changes to “yes” RSVPs within seven (7) days of an event become a frequent occurrence for a member, that member may be removed from the group. Determination of frequency is at the organizer’s discretion and may include consideration for a member’s reasons for changing their RSVPs.
The organizers will always be open to discussion with a member regarding any of the ground rules listed but will have the final say regarding membership.
