The week of Feb 24th is Freedom to Read Week.
On Feb 27th, the film selection at the Stanley Milner Library is actually a Freedom to View event-- the film shown is one that some have considered controversial. Naturally, this fact alone makes me interested in seeing it.
This film is "Cabaret," which is set in 1930s Berlin. A diva who performs in a nightclub falls in love with a writer who is bisexual, and makes friends with a Jewish woman.
The show is at 6:30pm in the theatre of the Stanley Milner Library. The theatre is downstairs.
Let's meet at 6:15pm outside the theatre doors (i.e. not near the main library doors). I will hold a small bouquet of artificial flowers, that way you can find me. I hope you can join me!
