The Necessities of Life (Ce qu'il faut pour vivre)

This film is part of the Science in the Cinema series. It sounds really interesting.

"'The Necessities of Life' takes the viewer back to the 1950s to tell the story of an Inuit hunter named Tivii. Diagnosed with tuberculosis, Tivii is flown for treatment to a sanatorium in Quebec far from his family, his language, and his way of life." (from the website below)

The show is at 6:30pm. Let's meet in the main lobby of the Garneau/Metro theatre at 6:15pm. I'll have a bouquet of flowers so that you can find me.

Admission is FREE and includes a small popcorn.

Is this a French-Canadian film with subtitles in Inuit? Count me in.

Haha! The subtitles are in English. But if not, then we can just think up our own during the film and then exchange versions afterwards! Glad you can make it tomorrow, Andy!
