50th Anniversary - To Kill a Mockingbird - on the Big Screen

"The film is set in a dusty, Depression-era Alabama town. Gregory Peck, in perhaps the signature performance of his career, plays principled lawyer Atticus Finch, who agrees to defend a black man (Brock Peters) accused of raping a white woman. Events unfold through the eyes of Scout (Mary Badham) and Jem (Phillip Alford), Finch's young children, who learn much about their community's fears and prejudices as the trial proceeds"

It was mix of every emotion, I laughed, cried, considered, was angry and got a taste of what life was like in 1930s Alabama, very thought provoking. Fantastic film!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
