"A Cat in Paris"

We had a great time at the last Cinema at the Centre meetup, so here's another one: "A Cat in Paris." It's animated and sounds like fun.

The film is FREE! The show starts at 6:30pm. Let's meet in the basement of the Stanley Milner Library, near the entrance to the theatre. So that you can recognize me, I'll be holding a small bouquet of colourful, polka-dotted daisies.

Excellent movie - equally entertaining for adults and children! It was great to see animation that is not typical in North America where everything has to be spashly and 3D. Well worth borrowing from the library. French movie dubbed in English by filmmakers.

I apologize again that I couldn't join all of you, and I regret that I missed it. I'll definitely borrow this one from the library.

Hey you guys. I'm really reluctant to drive on these roads, which I heard are really treacherous. For this reason, I don't want to head out to the movie today. I also don't want to cancel the outing. For those of you still going: if you meet at 6:15pm by the doors to the theatre, is that enough of a plan to leave you with? I'm sure you should be able to find each other, as last time, there weren't too many people milling around outside. I'm sorry for this last-minute change in plans.

Maria: better safe, etc. RCMP actually briefly CLOSED DOWN "my" highway (28) and are still telling people to stay off it. Just part of the fun of planning any outing in Alberta in winter.

Indeed. Other highways around the city were also closed today.

Driving conditions were horrible today. I hope they improve for Wednesday.

Thanks for letting me know that you can't make it.

You're welcome. We're really getting bad snow and high winds up here, and I understand it's going to be almost as bad in the city tomorrow. If anyone's driving, please leave yourself extra time, and watch out for a really nasty wind-chill.

Would anyone have a concern if I brought my 6yr old daughter? Im a single mom and its really hard to get a sitter. I would understand otherwise.

Megan, The movie is very cute even for kids, she will love it. I don't see any issue for you bringing her with you.

Yes, please bring your daughter! As Ali said, it's an animated movie about cats, so she'd likely enjoy it.
