Gallery Walk on 124 Street

The Edmonton Gallery Walk is the first of its kind in Canada and was formed in 1986 to promote art within our community.

The Gallery Walk Area spans 8 city blocks from 121st Street and Jasper Avenue up to 124th Street and Stony Plain Road.

This year, 9 galleries will be participating. There will be a prize draw (valued at $200) at participating galleries. Duchess Bake Shop and Thread Hill will have some special programming of their own. Street Eats Mobile Eatery will also be on 124th street during Gallery Walk.

Liliana’s Boutique has raised $32,000 for E4C’s School Lunch Program in over three years. Storeowner, Liliana Kujundzic, donates 100% of proceeds from every pashmina, eternity scarf and necklace sold. Liliana has a new objective: to raise $100,000 by January of 2015.

She will embark on a great journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. When she decided on her plan, she had yet to hike in the Canadian Rockies, but Liliana’s strong ambition has driven her rigorous training. Her motivation is E4C’s School Lunch Program. The program supports student success by increasing their concentration through a full meal. Children are enrolled in the program in 10 elementary schools throughout Edmonton. The immediate impact of the School Lunch Program is the satisfaction of a balanced meal, but over the long-term the program improves food security and strengthens coping skills.

You can support Liliana’s endeavour by sponsoring or donating. To donate through E4C, please visit us online, telephone[masked] ext. 115, or e-mail [masked]. To donate through Liliana’s Boutique, please telephone[masked], e-mail [masked] or visit the Boutique at 12302- Jasper Avenue.

Are we meeting at Glenora Bistro as a starting point for the walk, or are we meeting for lunch first?

    • Lina B

Starting point / coffee.. but if you would like to grab a snack that's OK too. I am hoping they will have enough space to accommodate such a big group.

Hey ladies, looks like we have an awesome turnout for this.. because our group will be so huge and a lot of new people, I would like to request that you wear a pink scarf or a shirt or something.. just so we don't get lost in a crowd! OK thx :)

What a great idea!! I'm really sad that I'm going to be out of town that day. I hope that you do another one of these outings in the future. :)
