Review some short screenplays

A few writers have some shorts to critique at our June 11 meeting. I haven't received them yet, so =I’ve posted one I wrote several months ago. You can find it at this link: If I get the others, I’ll get those posted. I look forward to your feedback.

Hi! I might not make it since I'd be driving in from 1 hour+ away and got double-booked, but I will try to come. I enjoyed your script, Russ! My only note is to build a more vivid picture of your characters. The best example I ever saw of this was in Frank Darabont's script for Shawshank:

ANDY DUFRESNE, mid-20's, wire rim glasses, three-piece suit.
Under normal circumstances a respectable, solid citizen; hardly
dangerous, perhaps even meek. But these circumstances are far
from normal. He is disheveled, unshaven, and very drunk. A
cigarette smolders in his mouth. His eyes, flinty and hard, are
riveted to the bungalow up the path.

That's funny, 8 are attending so that mean 3 or 4 will actually show up lol

I hope to meet some inspiring kindred spirits. I have written one 120 format and have another on the go.
