"One of the most widely performed Canadian plays comes to the Capitol Theatre. Mary’s Wedding is a poignant and inspiring story about the innocence of first love during the tumultuous times of The Great War. Subtle poetry and a captivating dreamscape weave past and present together."
Tickets available at the door (if not sold out) or online from the link below.
The play starts at 8 pm, so let's meet at the front lobby of the Capitol Theatre at 7:30 pm. I will wear a yellow flower on my jacket so you can recognize me as the event host. The Park closes at 6 pm, but there is a side entrance to the right of the main entrance intended for patrons of the Capitol Theatre and Hotel Selkirk. The tickets are general seating so our group can sit together.
Directions: After you drive from Fox Drive onto Fort Edmonton Park Road, turn right by a sign that says "Hotel Selkirk." You will arrive at a stop sign and a guard house. Drive past the guard house and then turn south into a parking area. Parking is available behind the Blatchford Hanger. From there it's a short walk to the Capitol Theatre or Hotel Selkirk.
Click onto the heading above that reads Capitol Theatre at Fort Edmonton Park to view a map of the approximate location of Fort Edmonton Park. View and download a color map of the above directions, including a picture of what the sign looks like, by clicking onto the link below.
I'll be wearing a small yellow sunflower on my jacket so you can recognize me.
Optional drinks before the show at the Mohagany Bar inside the Hotel Selkirk at 6:30 pm. If you would like to meet for drinks first, please make a note of that in the conversation section of this event posting.
