Learning about Jasper and the Canadian Artist Collective Extraordinaire - the Group of Seven tickle your curiosity and art appreciation zones? Great! How about joining us for a lunch hour presentation about:
"In 1924 two members of the Group of Seven, Lawren Harris and A.Y. Jackson, travelled to the Alberta Rockies for the first time. The trip occurred at a time when Jasper National Park was being developed into the tourist destination it is today. This lecture will discuss the history of these two artists in Alberta and the development of Jasper Park during this time period."
