A play by Stuart Lemoine - some club members saw another one of his plays - Angels on Horseback - during the Fringe.
Pith synopsis: In Providence, Rhode Island in 1931 an itinerant sailor leads a grieving society widow and her stoic housekeeper on an exhilarating and treacherous journey into the heart of the South American jungle... without ever taking them out of the living room.

Pith was amazing, I was laughing out loud many many times, although it was also very moving at times. I am going to go to as many future Stewart Lamoine plays as I can. I am also going to be watching for any productions that have any of the 3 actors from Pith as part of their cast, as the acting was superb!
The Mac and Cheese in the Lobby after the production was an unexpected bonus!

I could write several paragraphs on what I liked but in the end it just comes down to having had fun the whole time I watched this play. We need to go to more Teatro La Quindicina openings.

I really, really enjoyed this show. It was humourous and touching, and I love the theme of imagination (to solve problems) as applied to a show about adults. Using one's imagination is often used in kids' books and movies about kids, but how refreshing to see that in a show about adults. Just wonderful!!

Are we going to stop for snacks or beverages after the show. If so, where?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
