I'll start by saying I watched this show last year with a group of about 10 people, and we really enjoyed the show. Tickets are $61.25 for the main floor and first balcony, and $50 for second balcony.
This is a live show hosted by Stuart McLean. Apple announced their 2011 "Best of the Year" awards and The Vinyl Cafe podcast was chosen as the best audio podcast of the year.
The Vinyl Cafe is a radio show heard on CBC Radio in Canada, on selected public radio stations in the United States, on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 159, on Podcast, and live online. The show is written and hosted by Stuart McLean and features stories, essays and music (both live and recorded).
The Vinyl Cafe stories are about Dave, owner of the second hand record store, and they are collected in books and on CD. The stories also feature Dave's wife, Morley, their two children, Sam and Stephanie, and assorted friends and neighbours.
The motto of Dave's store - and of the radio show - is "We May Not Be Big, But We're Small".
Tickets available by phone (855)[masked], online (http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Stuart-McLean-Vinyl-Cafe-Christmas-tickets/artist/9232) or in person at the box office (Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
We will be going for brunch at 11 am, at a venue to be determined, followed by the show at 2:30 pm
