It's too bad Cathy and Marcella had to work late and Jan might have been there but I didn't see her as I waited at the entrance 'til 6:30. Ladies, you missed quite an experience. Probably going again next year, since it just costs a donation to the food bank. I didn't cheap out either. I gave about $15 worth of food. Thanks to all the sponsors the church has for this event, as it must cost quite a bit to put this on. And the volunteers, young and old, were great.

Hi all! Is everybody able to make it for 6 P.M.? As I've never been to this church before or the event, I guess we should meet at the entrance. I'll be wearing a jean jacket with Winnie the Pooh on the back. Don't forget your food bank donation.

I saw a poster for the walk today; here is a link to their website http://www.weca.com/bwe/

Is anyone travelling from the centre of the city or north side who would be willing to offer a ride? Going all the way to 199 Street is I imagine quite a trek on the bus and it's way too far to take a cab. Thanks.
