Hope this message finds you well and savouring your summer adventures -- hopefully the Fringe Theatre Festival was a part of the action!
I'm happy to report that the request for donations (earlier this month) to cover the costs for our Club website service with meetup.com is complete.
Many of you responded quickly to the request with commitments of $5 to $10. It only took a few days to gather commitments that exceeded the required $180. Then only a few weeks to receive the monies. Thanks so much for your quick response to this request!
We've collected $187.15 for the Club website service fund. $180 has already been paid to meetup.com for website services from June 11/12 to Dec 10/13. These monies will be distributed to Club Organizers that paid the fees earlier this and last year. The balance of $7.15 will be carried forward to the next semi-annual payment to meetup.com on Dec 11/13.
For any member interested in still donating to the website service fund, you're most welcome to do so. We'll use it for upcoming payments to meetup.com on Dec 11/13 and June 11/14.
