You can attend a variety of plays at the Fringe this year with Edmonton TheatreGoers. How will it all work?
- Below is a listing of Fringe plays we are seeing, the description, dates and other information.
- You are welcome to show up 20-30 minutes prior to the show, during which, myself or another TheatreGoer will meet you if you want to have someone to sit with during the show. They will be holding a sign saying, "TheatreGoers."
- If you would like to see the show on your own but want to join us for dinner afterwards, look for the "TheatreGoers" sign outside the venue at the end of the show.
1) You are responsible for purchasing your own ticket. Details on where to buy tickets are at the end of this e-mail.
2) You are free to see as many or as few shows as you like.Schedule Monday, August 17th

In every stage production there is another, often much bigger drama going on behind the scenes. Actor's egos and bruised sensitivities all add to the varied and often absurd world of the professional actor. Peek behind the curtain, as Macbeth meets real life, in this very British black comedy.

A long-running hit in London, the show opens with the celebrated fight between Holmes and Moriarty, followed by Moriarty's daughter seeking revenge for his death.

"The Oculist's Holiday" - Comedy
Venue: BYOV P Varscona Theatre (BYOV stands for Bring Your Own Venue)
Teatro's back, with elegantly alluring new intrigue from Lemoine. In a pleasant alpine setting, a diverse group of travelers are linked by a shared experience which will haunt them forever after. A stellar Quindicina quintet is headed by the luminous Barbara Gates Wilson, in her first Edmonton appearance since 2004.

Edmonton TheatreGoers Strongly advises that you purchase tickets as soon in advance as possible. The reason is that all of these shows are hot sellers according to "inside information." However, it can be quick and easy! Here are some options on how you can buy your tickets:
1) Online - Go to www.fringetheatre.ca and click on "Box Office" Online tickets may be picked up at the Central Box Office "Pick Up" window or at any Festival Box Offices.
2) In-Person - Purchase your tickets at any Festival Box Office or at the Central Box Office (Transalta Arts Barns - 10330 - 84 Ave).
3) By Phone - Call the Central Box Office at[masked] to order tickets. Please have a Fringe Program Guide on hand to make your order go more smoothly. Tickets purchased by phone may be picked up after at the Central Box Office "Pick Up" window or at any Festival Box Offices.
