Special Guest: John Miller of Agile Schools

Join us for a special evening with John Miller of Agile Schools. John will be flying in from Arizona to tell us in person all about Agile Methodology and how he has adapted this to schools, curriculum, and teachers. John has been a speaker at many conferences and will enlighten us all about how to scrum in all the right ways with our students and colleagues. Come for an evening of fun and learn a perhaps transformative practice to think about your school, collaboration, leadership, and education.

John's blog may be found here.

An article reviewing John's recent talk in Atlanta can be found here.

As always, the evening will start with a time of networking, where beverages and light snacks are provided by your Ed Tech Meetup organizers. John will talk from 7-8pm, and we will have a networking time with any announcements from our members from 8-8:30.

Sorry to hear this! The doors at the 3rd floor (parkade) were open until 7pm. John Miller is happy to share his slides from the presentation - [masked]

Thanks Janet, I wasn't aware of the upstairs entrance... I was trying to enter on the ground floor.

The idea of using scrum in schools was fascinating. I really enjoyed it.

John was not as organized as he could have been but the material presented was interesting - especially the videos of students in the classroom using Agile methods!
