I'll start with a few of my favorites:

EdSurge - A weekly newsletter that's an absolute must-read.

MindShift KQED - "How we will learn" - Great reporting by Audrey Watters.

K-12 Entrepreneurship: Slow Entry, Distant Exit - A must-read for any entrepreneur thinking about entering the education market, by the founders of Wireless Generation.

Edsurge really is the best!
EdNet/MDR have some good info for traditional K12 business, though their deep publishing roots show.
edu1world is higher ed focused and shows deep roots in ERP and large-scale LMS companies.
Michael Feldstein
usually has some good analysis of various ed tech product markets.
New School Venture Fund also recently did a great map of K12 technology products/companies.
