Its said"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." So, if as an teacher you fall short in educating or inspiring the young minds to think, the very concept of innovation that brings about positive change in not just one lifetime, but multiple, will loose its path. Technology is on the rise, and as educators we must harness the power of this technology into classrooms, into coursework, into projects etc. A new generation of thinkers, innovators that are aware of global warming, pollution, lifestyle choices etc and passionate about countering it. That is the type of education we must foster in our classrooms. To this end, I am looking forward to meeting with like minded people and be part of a new wave that is trying to make sure that "we are teaching our children on how to think rather than what to think about?"

I have been an academician for a long time in my life which culminated in a post-doctoral appointment in UCLA. In my opinion a great education system is that which teaches children, the power of individuality and the fruits of unity.
