LISTEN LOCAL! Series

Come to the inaugural Listen Local event. This is a new series at the Princeton Public Library. In the spirit of Shop Local and Eat Local, we think it also makes sense to Listen Local and support musicians in our midst. The library will host Listen Local events on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons on a regular basis starting in September.

We will keep EAMC members informed of future events as information becomes available.

This Sunday's performance will feature Ed Hermann, Helen O'Shea, Jeff Friedman, Garry Pearsall and Morph The Cat/Unplugged with Sam Stewart and Ted Oz.

Janie, thank you for creating this wonderful series...we all had a wonderful time putting this one together and performing with each other in different collaborations, most of which started in the Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative.......so thank you also, Steve!!!! Also, thanks to "Morph the Cat" for going "acoustic" for this event....awesome job.......and Jeff, thank you for taking time out of your busy "Acoustic Road" schedule to perform with us.......always a pleasure.......great experience all around!!!

Wonderful variety of great acoustic tunes from several genres. All the musicians were top-notch and this was a crowd pleaser.

Great concept -- very interested! Can't make this one, but will very much look for future programs.

If you are interested in the fall slot, you can inbox me with your proposal of who would perform at my work email: [masked] I have a folk night planned so would like some diversity. The library does have a Yamaha piano for anyone who needs to use it.

Hi everyone... I am coordinator of Listen Local and it is this group that inspired me to create a series featuring local musicians. Ideally each session will feature at least two groups or performers and be tied loosely by a theme. The music can be anything from classic to acoustic rock for fall/winter performances. Next summer we will do some louder stuff out on the plaza.

I would LOVE to attend but will be on vacation. I'll be there in spirit, next time in person.
