Caroling & Merry Making at Merwick Care Center

Join the Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative for our 3rd Annual Caroling and Merry Making trek through the halls and in the pods of Merwick Care Center with Louie the Hoop Flying Therapy Dog. We will set up in the 1st floor dining area (near main lobby) at 2:30 and perform for residents until about 3:45.   If you can't come at 2:30, we hope you can make it a bit later,  in time for us to make our way singing through the halls, pods and elevators of Merwick.

There will large print song books for all to sing along and if you want to just come to help residents to read along, you are welcome to join us!   Bring your voices, bells, crazy hats and any silly thing you can think of to help lift spirits. Louie will jump through a hula hoop and take care of most of the merry making. This is a really fun time for ALL

Sue, would it be ok if I played and sang "Mary do you know' for the residents on Friday? It's a calm, quiet song but I'm thinking you'll be doing a lot of upbeat activities too. I'll bring my maracas and tambourine.

Nancy - so glad u can come! Pls bring whatever songs and merry making supplies as u can. People will be so grateful. My dog will just jump through a hoop and be dressed in a way that will bring lots of joy. This will be our first time there in 2 months as I just completed a round of chemo. Energy is still kind of low, but even Dr. agrees that doing this kind of thing is good immune system booster.

I would love to do this. I'm leaving on Sat. morning for the week so If I can pack early I'll come. I have a half day at school on Friday so that will be a help.
