Do you have some musical talent you want to share with others? What instrument to you play? Vocals?

I hadn't played the drums for about 15 years when I bought a set of Roland V-Drums for the basement and started to play along to the iPod, about a year and half ago. I feel like I'm getting better all the time, but with a long way to go. I've never had any formal lessons and I'm eager for suggestions and tips to improve.

Have you performed casually or for gold, fame and fortune? Some of us left music for a while and are returning to it. How about you?

I heard Rush's Limelight in 1981 and tried to play along on the pillows (I still can't play that one). In grad school I played in an Alternative Rock band, all original songs, we thought we were Nirvana. We played out a lot in the bars near Houston Street NYC, we even had a small following (OK, it was about five people. But they seemed to like us.)

Are you passionate?

Yes, passionate but also very busy.

Do you believe in community and service to others? Part of our mission is in community outreach by way of participating in benefit concerts and playing for the aged and infirm. Interested?

I feel we have a responsibility to leave the world a better place than it was before we got here.

Would you like to support other Collaborative members and what would you like to get out of your participation?

I feel like I can keep a beat to just about any rock song, and I like to learn new songs assuming my schedule allows. And I'd like to expand my horizons a bit, possibly try singing one of three songs in my range.

Dad of two, I live in Hamilton, I'm the director of marketing for SightLogix in Princeton, and I play drums with Pi Fight.
