Friday, September 28th from 6-10 at the Arts Council of Princeton.
Musical theater and movie musicals have spanned all musical genres and types of stories: from the jazzy score of "Guys & Dolls" to the 50's rock of "Grease;" classics like "Oklahoma" or "Singin' i n the Rain;" the modern opera of "Rent" and the indescribable experience that is "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Add in all the wonderful music found under the heading of "American Standards," and the evening will have something for everyone.
Start thinking about all your favorite musicals, both on stage and on the big screen! Remember the last thing you sang at a piano bar! What do you want to share??
We nearly hit our maximum capacity at the last big party, so we will need to cap registrations at 75, including guests. Be sure to RSVP if you are planning to come. It's very important that we know the number of guests you are bringing. Please list the names of your guests in the RSVP comments section.
Brittany Montoro has offered to provide piano accompaniment, if you contact her ahead of time. You can respond to her post on the event listing. If you are also interested in supporting other members with accompaniment on guitar, piano or even with a band - please post when you rsvp!!!
I hope to see many of you there on the 28th!
