I don't know what funds UTEP has or the process, if any, to garner some, but this article is interesting for a Secular Student Alliance (SSA) there.

Not sure, but if UTEP does have such funds, they'd probably prefer to fund the existing faculty-sponsored atheist organization: http://minetracker.ut...­

I don't think that group is presently affiliated with any umbrella organization, if that is relevant. I've talked with their founder, Tanner Milroy, a couple times but never attended any of their events.
