Saturday, Nov. 2 - "Concert on the Patio" with country/latin folksinger Bianca deLeon is the opportunity to vote on some creepy, ridiculous and even blasphemous “ordinances”
“We the undersigned ask that the City Council of El Paso pass an “ordinance” banning the use of hair dyes, make-up and tattoos because they defile the body.”
~ Corinthians.

Blasphemy or not, it’s all part of the tongue-in-cheek festivities when Join Us for Justice brings Austin-based latin/country songwriter Bianca deLeon to El Paso at 7 pm Saturday, November 2 at Aceitunas Beer Garden 5200 Doniphan.

In the spirit of the poorly-worded “traditional family values” ordinance put before El Paso voters a few years ago, join us as we create and “vote” on some of the most outrageous, silly and plain ridiculous “ordinances” ever to see the light of day! Consider supporting the following: "The undersigned ask the City Council of El Paso to tear down the El Paso baseball stadium and replace it with a new county jail!"

Or, put your own "crazy" ordinance up for a “vote”!

Join us for the “ordinance-signing” and stay for an evening of food and entertainment. Admission is $20 per person (or $30 for two people) including dinner and live entertainment.

Please purchase early to ensure your space online using paypal at: or by check to: Join Us For Justice, 6090 Surety Drive Suite 100 El Paso, TX 79905.

Thanks for your help in promoting this important community event! See you on the patio. Questions or concerns: 915-525-8543. See event flyer below!

I personally love the idea of the ordinance banning tattoos and makeup. Maybe an ordinance requiring all residents to sell their children into slavery or requiring men to ask all women they encounter if they are having their period prior to speaking with them about anything would be a good idea, too. And most important of all, requiring all football players to wear gloves when playing so as not to touch pigskin, that should really go over well.

I am really looking forward to the concert!

Looking forward to meeting the group. Will we get an Email when a date is set?
