At the first week of October, the entire development team of Elasticsearch will be in Amsterdam and we can't miss the chance to organize another meetup.
This time we will have two talks:
- Costin Leau (https://twitter.com/costinl) will talk about his baby - the Elasticsearch-Hadoop integration. In his words:
"A close look on how Hadoop through Map/Reduce, Hive and Pig can leverage a search engine through Elasticsearch. We'll look at index scalability, data locality and partitioning and on-premise storage"
- Drew Raines (https://twitter.com/drewr) will talk about his adventures helping GitHub to move from their Amazon hosted cluster to their own hardware based solution.
This time we are hosted by Trifork (thank you!). As always we start with some food at 18:30, talks starting at 19:00.
See you all on there,
