D&D Encounters at The Gaming Goat

The D&D Encounters program is once again at the Gaming Goat starting in November.

Once again we have the option to run as 3.5, 4th edition, and Next.  We will likely only have one table this season, so when you rsvp, please comment as to which D&D system you would prefer to play this season with.

No experience necessary.  Adventures are one-encounter-a-week format that ties into a complete adventure in 8-12 weeks.  Casual play is encouraged, so drop in or out as your schedule allows.  Pre-generated characters available for play.

Any questions?  Post a comment to any of the meetups and we'll try to answer them.

I sort of wish it was in 4e, but it's okay, I'll have my chance. Lots of people playing.

Hey, me and my girlfriend are looking to get into Dungeons and Dragons. We're in Buckie which is like 20 minutes from Elgin and we're in Elgin all the time. We're both adults and have been reading quite a bit about the game and what not. Are you guys open to noobs and if you are we'd love to come along and try it out.

We have a few noobs. The Encounters program encourages new players, and there are generally pregenerated characters available so you can jump right in. The more experienced players help explain the rules and options so that you learn as you go.

I don't know what Pathfinder is, is it a version of D&D?

Is this an "adults only" thing? Because I don't want to go and be the only 13 year old there.

We have another young teen who plays, and the game is pretty open to inexperienced players.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
