Harvest Tasting - Best wines for Fall

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all can make it out tonight for our tasting of "Harvest" wines! We have a wonderful evening planned with our friend Chris Wright of Moon Distributing. He will be discussing some of the best wines to pair with a traditional Thanksgiving feast. We will explore a range of wines, from white to red, and from a several different countries, that are perfect for these crisp Autumn days. The wines that Chris and I have selected are as follows:

Cuvee Anne-Laure Riesling, Alsace, France, 2009

Cuvee Anne-Laure Gewurztraminer, Alsace, France, 2009

Turkey Flat Rose, Barossa Valley, Australia, 2008

Montes Limited Selection Pinot Noir, Casablanca Valley, Chile, 2009

Earthquake Zinfandel, Lodi, California, 2009

Please RSVP or decline accordingly. It is very helpful if I can get an accurate count so that I have ample seating and snacks for everyone. This tasting will be the usual $25 plus tax per person and includes a light snack. It will begin at 7pm and last roughly an hour and a half.

Thanks and hope to see you tonight!

I enjoyed especially the Gewurztraminer and the Zinfandel. While the former was a spicy sipper, the latter was, true to brand name, an earthquake in the mouth! The company was also lots of fun.

We had fun meeting new people and tasting new wines. I tasted the first riesling I've really liked & the zin was awesome. Will do this again!

Our table would have preferred that the presenter describe each wine to the entire group first, take general questions and then maybe visit each table. Instead, the presenter described the wine to each table separately, and we felt that we were missing out on information being shared at other tables.
