There are a whole bunch of meetups  in the Baltimore and DC areas. However, there doesn't seem to be anything out there for fun-loving folks in the Ellicott City/Columbia, MD area.  I think it would be fun to meet some new friends and get to know the area through a new meetup as there seems to be plenty of things to do around here without having to go to the major cities.

The goal of this group is to get some fun people together to go out on the town on weekends (in Ellicott City or Columbia, possibly Baltimore), go for hikes, play some pick-up sports (frisbee, soccer, etc), go see a concert, grab coffee together, or any other fun activities that members suggest. Initially I just want to gauge interest in the group, but hopefully we can start doing things together on a regular basis!

The groups is primarily people in their 20's and 30's, but age is just a number.  If you are young-spirted you are more than welcome!  You should join if you live,work or like to go to the Ellicott City/Columbia area, have ideas for activities that you can contribute to the group, are willing to participate, and if you are a fun person looking to meet some new friends.
